The Leland Lodge Resort & Conference Center sits beautifully at the top of Leland nestled in the tall pines, between Lake Michigan and Lake Leelanau. The main entrance has a covered canopy that welcomes guests into the comfortable lobby with a TV and stone fireplace. A small conference room is off the lobby as well as two private offices. The restaurant and banquet room are accessed via the lobby.
There is a large outdoor dining and entertainment deck just off the 8th green of the Leland Country Club. The restaurant has the main bar with coolers and prep room. The banquet room can accommodate up to 250 people and has a fully equipped professional kitchen, walk-in freezer and cooler, executive chef office and storage room. Laundry room and additional storage are in the basement. The second floor of the Leland Lodge houses 17 guest rooms all finished in fine quality Oak and modern furnishings. Spacious rooms nicely decorated, some with balconies and unique drop down bunk beds for kids.
Leland is a picturesque little village located on a sliver of land between Lake Michigan and Lake Leelanau, on beautiful Leelanau Peninsula. The Leland area is known worldwide for it’s 200 year old fishing village-“Fishtown”, exquisite glens and valleys punctuated with lakes and streams and the spectacular Sleeping Bear National Lakeshore. Visitors arrive by car, boat, and bicycle. The quaint shops, restaurants, galleries, and museums are located within a short distance allowing for leisurely walks to explore the village. There is also easy access to public beaches, boat launches on each lake, and a river connecting the two. Charter fishing trips and the public ferry to the popular Manitou Islands depart from Fish town and there is an adjacent full-service marina. One of Leland's signature events is the annual Leland Wine and Food Festival which features many of the regions exquisite award winning wines and food from local vineyards, wineries , and restaurants.
